PROJECTS
Selected work and emerging initiatives
DDSC works across applied research, digital systems, agricultural analysis, and implementation support. Some work is delivered directly, while other initiatives are developed collaboratively with specialist partners.

AgriFront Door Malawi
AgriFront Door Malawi is a proposed multilingual, low-bandwidth digital public-service assistant for agricultural extension and related services. The initiative is being developed as a bounded Malawi-first pilot focused on improving access to routine advisory information, service navigation, and extension-system responsiveness while maintaining strong human oversight.
Multilingual and low-bandwidth access pathways – support for routine advisory and service navigation – privacy-conscious insight layer for service improvement – climate-smart and agribusiness-relevant extension support – designed to complement existing public systems, not duplicate them.
AgroSignal Commons
AgroSignal Commons is a proposed public-good research effort led by DDSC Consulting to test whether multilingual field observations, weather and environmental signals, and Earth observation data can improve earlier crop-stress detection in Malawi’s smallholder systems through open benchmarks, reproducible pipelines, and responsible data governance.

Our Approach
Our approach emphasizes human oversight, institutional fit, careful handling of information and access rights, and phased development grounded in consultation and implementation realism.
